About Whistling Straits (Straits Course)
Built on the shores of Lake Michigan, Whistling Straits looks like it was transported from Ireland. Pete Dye created dramatic elevation changes, fescue-covered dunes, and over 1,000 bunkers (many unmaintained) on this links-style masterpiece that hosted the 2021 Ryder Cup.

Great course, challenging conditions
Beautiful course with stunning views. The wind made it very challenging but that's part of the experience. Pace of play was a bit slow.
